Which is fine, it's Naughty Dog & they make amazing stories so it very easily could be great. I would bet everyone just watches their own character in cutscenes, like how the newer Ghost Recons do it. assuming there is some form of character customization. Thinking about it makes me want it badly - you'd essentially pick your voice and then your role in the story is determined by that.

Like you could play the story with up to X people as traditional co-op, or the story missions are solo however, involve other players running around the overworld through pvp/pve objectives.īecause if they plan to make the story work as a co-op experience, and they give the player character a voice, that sounds like an insane undertaking if these player characters are interacting with eachother in scenes. I'm curious to see if it will be a game where you play the story first on your own and then get into the true multiplayer experience, or if this will somehow be intertwined in a way. If it’s anything like It was before I’m getting this game. They just can’t fuck up the balancing (they probably will) they can’t make people too spongy or too easy, it all had a “it’s us or them” vibe, I really do miss the multiplayer. I loved headshotting people with my sniper/shotgun, the balancing was reallly really well done and it could easily work in a bigger environment. What made the multiplayer sick was how the gameplay mechanics we’re nearly exactly the same as the single player campaign and tough to master but very satisfying to pull off. You and a team of 2-6 (or 4) players work your way around an abandoned mall for example littered with other players looking for supplies would be pretty cool, with some runners/clickers/bloaters on the side. However if they mixed in elements of The Division like having to find resources in the ‘The Dark Zone’ in a giant map to exfil resources somehow that’d be sick.

God as someone who loved the first last of us multiplayer and hates tarkov’s realism approach, I wouldn’t be a fan tbh. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
